October 4, 2011 (Bethesda, Md.) – Reznick Government, a division of top 20 national CPA firm Reznick Group, today announced that Joseph P. Caggiano has joined the firm as a principal, based in Reznick Government's Bethesda, Md., office.
Caggiano will assume a lead role in expanding Reznick Government's business development efforts at the federal level and with potential clients and teaming partners. Caggiano is a seasoned federal market executive with more than 24 years of business, technology and military experience.
Prior to joining Reznick Government, Caggiano was chief operating officer of Washington Management Group and its subsidiary FedSources, McLean, Va., where he was personally recruited to the position by its CEO to lead the company's turnaround of the FedSources division and lead the overall growth of the entire organization. Caggiano also brings significant public accounting industry experience to Reznick Government, having served in business development roles with both Deloitte and Arthur Andersen.

About Caggiano
As Chief Operating Officer for WMG/FedSources from 2004 – 2011, Caggiano helped stabilize an existing customer base and established a new services-based model that provided market intelligence subscription service to government contractors. With full management authority for this 145 person company, he ran day-to day operations, recruited executive talent to lead newly formed business units, and helped deliver double-digit revenue growth over a six year period following the purchase of WMG by FedSources in 2003.
Prior to WMG/FedSources, Caggiano was a business development manager with Deloitte in McLean, Va. At Deloitte, he was responsible for leading technology and consulting sales in the mid-Atlantic region (Philadelphia, Pa., Washington, DC and Richmond, Va. markets) where he focused on positioning and selling large, complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence (BI) and custom IT solutions. Prior to Deloitte, Caggiano was a regional sales manager/business development manager with Arthur Andersen where he established and managed the southeastern United States regional office and territory.
Caggiano served in the United States Navy for eight years, completing tours of duty onboard the USS Independence (CV62), at Navy Personnel Command, and as an instructor at Villanova University.
Caggiano earned an MBA and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Villanova University where he was an NROTC scholarship student.
